In the vast, silent expanse of the Earth Kingdom, Batara Guru, a deity of immense power, found himself burdened by an unexpected and profound loneliness. Although the lush forests around him were vibrant, his heart felt desolate. Far above, in the luminous Sky Kingdom, his siblings, We Tenriabeng and Batara Lattu, watched him with tearful eyes, their concern palpable.

"Why can't we join him?" We Tenriabeng sobbed, her voice trembling with longing. Batara Lattu gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "This is his ordained path," he explained softly. "Patoto'e desires that he learns to thrive on his own."

Meanwhile, Batara Guru continued his solitary quest for sustenance. He gathered a few wild yams and fruits, yet the simple act brought little comfort. He often reflected on the vibrant companionship he had known in the Sky Kingdom, a stark contrast to his current isolated existence.

One afternoon, as the horizon glowed orange, Batara Guru approached a nearby river for water. Suddenly, an unexpected figure emerged: a crocodile, strangely adorned in a vivid yellow garment, stepping onto the bank. His surprise was profound when the creature began to speak.

"Oh, Batara Guru, sovereign of this realm, I perceive the profound loneliness that burdens your spirit," the crocodile addressed him respectfully. "Allow me to escort you to the kingdom of Pertiwi. There, you might discover true companionship, perhaps even your destined empress, who could fill this void."

Batara Guru was astonished. "How could you possibly know my innermost thoughts?" he inquired, trying to maintain a calm demeanor. "Nonetheless, I am bound by important duties here on Earth, which I cannot simply abandon." His duty felt paramount, despite his yearning.

The crocodile edged closer, its voice smooth and convincing. "Do not be concerned, Batara Guru. I possess the ability to briefly assume your duties here. Consequently, your absence would not compromise the Earth Kingdom's welfare." This clever proposition began to chip away at Batara Guru's resolve.

Despite lingering doubts and Patoto'e's divine prohibitions, Batara Guru finally decided. "Very well," he conceded, a flicker of hope igniting. "If you can indeed safeguard this realm while I am away, I shall accompany you." His profound curiosity and desire for connection had prevailed.

Without further ado, Batara Guru mounted the crocodile's broad back. In mere moments, they had traversed immense distances, arriving swiftly at the enchanting kingdom of Pertiwi. The journey had been surprisingly rapid and effortless, a testament to the crocodile's magical powers.

Batara Guru was utterly captivated. "Truly magnificent!" he exclaimed, surveying the breathtaking natural beauty. The ocean, in particular, teemed with vibrant, diverse life, its depths shimmering with countless creatures. It was a spectacle of unparalleled wonder, unlike anything he had witnessed.

However, as he observed the empresses of Pertiwi, Batara Guru noticed a subtle difference in their faces compared to those from the Sky Kingdom. While beautiful, their features possessed a unique charm, perhaps not quite what he had envisioned.

Meanwhile, quite by chance, one of Batara Guru's cousins happened to open a palace window. Spotting him below, the cousin gasped in recognition and quickly rushed to inform We Tenriabeng, knowing the profound significance of this unexpected appearance.

"I must go to the palace at once; something vital has occurred!" We Tenriabeng declared, a tremor of panic in her voice. Unaware of the crocodile's crucial role, she hurried, propelled by an urgent desire to reunite with her brother. This encounter promised to propel Batara Guru into a deeper adventure.

Episode 016: Buaya Penolong Batara Guru

Batara Guru terkejut, "Kau tahu isi hatiku?" tanyanya berusaha mengontrol nada suara. "Tapi, aku masih punya tanggung jawab di sini."

"Benar, tetapi tidakkah kau ingin mengetahui calon permaisurimu?
