Perahu Tanete Manurung melaju dengan megah di atas lautan tenang, diiringi ratusan perahu kecil lainnya. Batara Lattu duduk di haluan, matanya memperhatikan para awak kapalnya yang sibuk, memberikan semangat kepada mereka. "Dapatkah kita melihat daratan segera?" tanyanya, suaranya tegas namun penuh harap.
"Sabar, Adinda! Kita akan segera sampai di kerajaan Pujananti," jawab La Togeq Langi' dengan nada meyakinkan. "Kerajaan ini masih di bawah naungan Ale Luwu."
