Listen, little one. A friend watches you. Your Guardian Angel has been with you since you were a baby. It is always near.

Your Guardian Angel whispers to you. It says: Be good. Tell the truth. Love all and all things around you.

Even big, strong grown-ups were once small children. They can keep how to be kind. Keeping a kind heart is very key. It helps you find a truly happy place.

You live in light and joy now. This is a happy time. Keep this good feeling as you grow up.

Keep believing in goodness and love. Follow your angel's help. This is the only way to find light and peace.

Good and true things always stay. They are still true when you grow up.

Be humble. Do not say you are the best. Be like angels who sing happy songs for others.

You are small and still learning. It is okay to ask for help. Ask with a happy heart. Your angel will help you.

Do your work with joy. Be brave. Spread happiness in your home.

Be kind in happy times. Be kind in sad times. Help others who need it. See your own mistakes. Love your home and where you live.

This is your angel's voice. May all hear it. Grow up in a good way. Help your world to be happy and kind. Always be good, be kind, and keep your childlike heart.

SUOJELUSENKELIN ÄÄNI.

    Muistatko, kuinka kehtosi

    Ääressä seisoi enkeli?

    Sua seuraa vielä tänään tuo,

    Varoittaa, varjelusta suo.

    Kuuletko kehoitusta sen:

    Ain' ollos puhdas, totinen,

    Rakasta Luojaa, luotuja;

    Äl' olla häpee lapsena.

    Sun laises lapsi ollut on

    Uroskin vahvin, verraton;

    On viisain ollut pienenä:

    Voit samoin sinä elpyä.

    Vaan suurin ei, ei viisainkaan,

    Ylistetyinkään päällä maan

    Jumalan valtakuntaan käy,

    Jos lapsen mielt' ei hällä näy.

    Valossa asut ylhäällä

    Elämän riemun lähteillä,

    Lähteillä urhotöidenkin:

    Ne sieltä virtaa laaksoihin.

    Vaan ijäkkäämpäin alhaalla

    Laaksossa täytyy taistella,

    Jalassa pistin, pyrkien

    Toiselle korkeudellen.

    Säilytä lapsen-uskos vaan

    Jesuksen kautta Jumalaan;

    Ei muutoin ole milloinkaan

    Valoa, rauhaa ollenkaan.

    Kun sanotaan: ei suurena

    Sit' uskota kuin lapsena,

    Niin muista: taivaankin ja maan

    Hukkuissa Sana säilyy vaan.

    Vaikk' aivan rikas olisit,

    Niin nöyrry vain kuin enkelit:

    He itseään ei ylistä,

    Vaan Herraa, hoitain ihmistä.

    Laps olet köyhä, vähäinen,

    Viallinen ja puutteinen;

    On oppimatta sinulla

    Elämän läksy lavea.

    Sä heikko, Herran voimakkaan

    Apua ano ainiaan,

    Valoa, pyhitystä ja

    Hyvyyden tielle neuvoa.

    Tee työtä mielin uljahin

    Iloisin, pelkäämättömin,

    Valona kodin laulellen

    Kuin vapaa, nuori lintunen.

    Ole uskollinen ilossa

    Ja suruss'; auta vaivaista

    Rakastavasti, säälien;

    Näe vikas, älä veljien.

    Kotoas, maatas rakasta;

    Voimassa, viisaudessa,

    Hyveissä kasva; iloiten

    Ann' henkes eestä totuuden!

    Laps! Enkelis tää ääni on.

    Sen koko maamme kuulkohon,

    Niin kukkii se; sä olet sen

    Keväinen nuori, kaunoinen.
