Once, there were two boxes. One was very pretty. It was shiny and gold. It had a lock and a key. Many people saw it. They all looked at it. "Oh, how nice!" they said. "It is so special!" The box was very shiny. It looked so beautiful.

The other box was simple. It was not shiny. It was plain and brown. People did not look at it. They did not say anything. They walked past the simple box. It did not look special at all.

A little child came. The child saw the pretty box. "What is inside?" the child asked. Someone opened the box. There was nothing inside. The box was empty. It was just a box. It had nothing good inside.

The child saw the simple box. "What is inside?" the child asked. Someone opened the box. It was full of good things. There were many happy things inside. The box had good things. It was not empty.

Now people saw the pretty box. It was just a box. People loved the simple box. It had good things inside. The simple box was good.

We learn a lesson. Inside matters more than outside looks.
