Two bright stars lived high in the sky. One star was Faith. It fell from the cold North. The other star was Longing. It fell from the warm South. They came to Earth.

The stars landed in a green forest. They became a man and a woman. The man was Faith. The woman was Longing. They were very happy. They held hands.

Faith and Longing lived in the forest. They had a baby. It was a girl. They named her Love. Love was their sweet child.

Faith and Longing wanted to bless baby Love. They wanted special friends to help. But they were alone in the forest. They had no friends there. They felt a little sad.

Many creatures came to help. A fox came. A bird came. Other creatures came too. Faith and Longing said no. They wanted someone special.

Then a bright sunbeam spoke. "I will bless little Love," it said. "I will give her joy. I will give her warmth. She will be happy."

Two special ladies came from the sky. They were very kind. They looked very much alike. Faith and Longing looked at them. They felt very happy. They kneeled down.

One lady was The Gentle Mother. She held a baby close. She put her hand on Love's head. She said, "Love will be kind. Love will be caring. Love will be like a good mother."

The other lady was The Bright Lady. She smiled at Love. She said, "Love will be full of joy. Love will make people happy. Love will make people warm. Love is very special."

Baby Love grew very fast. She became a pretty lady. She was very special. She stood on the grass. She was bright and warm.

Love went to see the world. She met many people. But people did not always know her. They did not know how special she was. Love was still special.

Gentle wind carried Faith and Longing. They went back to the stars. They watched Love from the sky. They were happy there. Love was still special.

In jedem Lächeln ihres Mundes zittere Sonnenschein, in jeder Bewegung ihrer Glieder herrsche Anmut, Freude, Wärme.« Und
